Admissions Specialist / Registered Nurse

Help patients take the next step toward recovery.  MedStar National Rehabilitation Network is seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled professional to join our team as an Admissions Specialist. In this dynamic role, you’ll connect patients, families, and healthcare providers with life-changing rehabilitation services while helping coordinate seamless inpatient admissions.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate and assess patients for inpatient rehabilitation eligibility
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and referral sources
• Educate patients and families about rehabilitation services and care options
• Build strong relationships with hospitals and community partners
• Support care planning, insurance/pre-certification, and admissions coordination
• Serve as a trusted rehabilitation resource across the healthcare continuum

What We’re Looking For

• RN license required (background with relevant rehab experience preferred)
• 1–2 years of clinical experience required
• Strong assessment, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Knowledge of rehabilitation services and healthcare systems preferred
• Reliable transportation for local travel to referring hospitals
