JOB SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:
Safely and efficiently transport clients from various locations (homes, hospitals, facilities, etc.) to designated treatment locations
Maintain consistent communication with the admissions team regarding transport status and updates
Report all pertinent information in real time through the driver communication system during each shift/transport
Select the safest, most direct, and legally compliant routes; identify alternate routes when necessary
Comply with all local, state, and federal traffic regulations
Report any delays, incidents, or accidents immediately
Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of assigned vehicle
Provide a welcoming, respectful, and professional experience for all clients during transport
Perform occasional errands or additional support tasks as needed
Uphold and comply with the organization’s drug-free workplace policy
Availability is based on client need and is not guaranteed
Must be willing to accept transport requests with flexibility and timeliness
Demonstrate a servant-hearted approach when assisting clients entering treatment
Maintain professionalism and reliability despite variable scheduling
