Responsibilities:

Oversees and supports the admissions process from initial phone call or electronic referral to acceptance, transfer and sign in. Takes the lead on problem solving and strives to remove barriers to admission. Ensures new referrals are addressed timely and processed efficiently within the admissions department to meet census goals.   Manages the admissions staff and processes.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Immediately evaluates referrals for admission and directs to proper individual for assessment consulting with Admissions Outreach Nurses, Director of Business Development, Sales & Marketing, Nursing Administration or other clinicians as needed for all service lines.
• Ensures all information required is entered into database accurately and completely including patient demographics, email addresses, emergency contact information, insurance information and more.
• Oversees weekly audit of contracts, consents and addendums to ensure all are signed and uploaded (or completed with electronic signature) within 24-48 hours of admission.
• Supports the team in reaching and exceeding average monthly census goals established by Director of Business Development and ensures consistent language is used based on availability/need.

 

Min: USD $38.05/Hr. Max: USD $57.05/Hr. Salary Information: Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid-portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications.
