Position Overview:
  • The Admissions Manager, Graduate & Executive Degree Programs Admissions at Client McDonough School of Business manages all activities related to admissions for our Executive Master's in Leadership - Greece (EML-G) and Executive Master's in Leadership - Qatar (EML-Q) programs and is responsible for monitoring and managing admissions inboxes and supporting applicants through the admissions process.
  • The Admissions Manager is responsible for supporting all aspects of admissions for EML-G and EML-Q, including overseeing systems related to the application process, reading applications, credential evaluation and decision processing for all applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Do first review of all applications, process applications and ensure accurate processing of all applicant files. This includes checking all documents that have been received (with oversight of GPA calculations, verification of degree conferral, and verification of official documents and test scores), ensuring all files are distributed to the Admissions Committee for review, and managing the processing of all admissions decisions.
  • Schedule admissions interviews with appropriate staff and faculty members as needed.
  • Deliver decisions in a timely fashion to applicants; respond to follow-up inquiries to enhance yield, and refer inquiries to other campus offices as appropriate.
  • Manage and monitor the admissions inboxes, as assigned.
  • Answer admissions phone lines, helping prospective students with their questions and rerouting as necessary.
  • Help in managing admissions databases to track all applicants and the current status of each application.
  • Compile weekly admissions statistics.

Required Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with MS Word and Excel.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal abilities and a poised, professional demeanor.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in maintaining confidential data.
  • Critical ability to multi-task, prioritize and execute.
  • Critical eye for detail.
  • Confidence to take initiative, ask questions and make recommendations with the end goal of process improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Team player.
  • Strong preference for experience in a higher education admissions environment.

Pay Rate: $32 / Hour
