JOB SUMMARY
The University of Connecticut School of Social Work is seeking applicants for a full-time, end-dated position as an Admissions Officer 1. This position supports recruitment, outreach, and admissions operations for the School of Social Work, with a primary focus on the Master of Social Work (MSW) program and additional support for the BSW and PhD programs. This role plays a key part in engaging prospective students, guiding applicants through the admissions process, and contributing to enrollment and yield goals.
The position assists in implementing recruitment and outreach strategies, manages applicant communications across the admissions lifecycle, and helps ensure a positive, responsive and informative experience for prospective and admitted students. The role also supports data tracking, reporting, and process improvement to advance the School's enrollment objectives and works collaboratively with admissions staff, faculty, and campus partners. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to social justice, access, and equity aligned with the mission of the School of Social Work.
Works under the supervision of the Director of Recruitment and Admissions.

APPOINTMENT TERMS
This is a full-time, end-dated position with the possibility of renewal subject to performance and funding. The salary range for this position is $58,000 to $65,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
