    As an Admissions Officer at Ayers Career College, you are often the first voice a prospective student hears- and the most important one.  You’re not just filling seats; you’re helping people make a life-changing decision about their future. 
    Essential Responsibilities
    • Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective students via phone, email, text, and walk-ins.
    • Conduct admissions interviews to assess student goals and determine program fit.
    • Provide detailed information regarding training programs, schedules, tuition, financing options, and career opportunities.
    • Build rapport with prospective students and maintain consistent follow-up throughout the admissions process.
    • Schedule and conduct campus tours and information sessions.
    • Guide applicants through enrollment paperwork and admissions requirements.
    • Maintain accurate records and activity within the school's CRM system.
    • Meet individual and team enrollment goals while maintaining compliance with all institutional and regulatory standards.
    • Collaborate with Financial Aid, Student Services, and Career Services to ensure a seamless student experience.
    • Participate in recruiting events, career fairs, community outreach, and open houses as needed.
    • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and career opportunities.
    Qualifications
    • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree.
    • Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in admissions, inside sales, recruiting, customer service, consultative sales, or commensurate experience in a related field. 
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
    • Ability to build trust and motivate prospective students.
    • Comfortable working in a goal-oriented, performance-driven environment.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office. 
    • Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends for recruiting events.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Previous experience in higher education admissions or career education is a bonus.
    • Experience working with CRM platforms such as Student First, CampusVue or similar systems.
    • Knowledge of workforce development or vocational education is a plus.
