About the DepartmentBSD MST - Staff. Founded in 1967, The University of Chicago Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) is one of the nation's longest-running physician-scientist training programs. It prepares future leaders in academic medicine through rigorous scientific and clinical training, equipping students to pursue careers in biomedical research and tackling pressing challenges in medical science.This at-will position is wholly or partially funded by contractual grant funding which is renewed under provisions set by the grantor of the contract. Employment will be contingent upon the continued receipt of these grant funds and satisfactory job performance.Job SummaryThe Admissions & Operations, Sr. Analyst coordinates all administrative aspects of the MSTP recruitment and admissions process and manages the daily operations of a small, fast‑paced office. The role is the primary point of contact for prospective students, requiring exceptional professionalism, strong organizational skills, and clear, responsive communication. A regular on‑site presence is required to assist drop‑in students, respond to inquiries, and ensure access to office resources.
