Overview
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is responsible for the recruitment, selection, and enrollment of the first-year and transfer class each year for the School of Arts & Sciences, School of Engineering, and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts. Admissions is charged with meeting various enrollment goals across schools and programs.
What You'll Do

The Program Assistant will support office initiatives within the Undergraduate Admissions in Bendetson Hall. The Program Assistant will support the office's initiatives for recruitment, transfer applicants, and data systems.
- Contributing to the office's recruitment planning initiatives, including maintaining event calendars, coordinating off-campus events, and other planning duties.
- Supporting the undergraduate application process by serving as a primary point-of-contact for transfer applicants, processing transfer credentials, and other process-related tasks.
- Providing excellent customer service via phone, email, and in-person conversations.
- Completing essential administrative functions such as data entry, application credential processing, managing and responding to email and phone inquiries, packing and shipping materials, and other tasks as assigned.
- Staffing the reception desks in the admissions buildings and/or event locations during regular business hours, as requested/needed.
- Completing other duties as assigned.
While our office operates in a hybrid modality, there is an expectation of regular campus presence.

Basic Requirements:
Knowledge and experience typically acquired by:
- Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years administrative experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Cultural sensitivity and a willingness to work with diverse populations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- experience working within an educational setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing CRMs and databases
Pay Range
Minimum $25.20, Midpoint $30.10, Maximum $34.90
Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
