Billerica, Reading, Stoneham, Tewksbury, Wakefield, Wilmington, Winchester, and Woburn, with additional coverage in touching towns as needed. You’ll work with a diverse patient population and provide care where patients live every day.Why you’ll like this teamYou have independence, but you’re never on your own.

• A schedule that works for you: Full-time (36-hours), Tuesday–Friday (9-hour days) with no evenings, 3 starts of care visits per day, and the autonomy to manage your own schedule and appointments.
• Ancillary support services: Scheduling coordinators, liaisons, and other support services help with the administrative and coordination needs of care, allowing you to spend more time focused on your patients.
• Strong team culture: Work alongside a collaborative team that values communication, teamwork, and supporting one another. Monthly team meetings, and quarterly in-person team days help keep the team connected.

Our onboarding is designed to help you feel prepared and confident working independently in the community.

Our MGB electronic documentation system gives you easy access to doctors’ notes and orders, helping make communication and care coordination more seamless.Your safety mattersWe provide safety resources to support you in the field, including:

• Security-supported key fob accessWhat you’ll doAs an RN, you’ll work closely with an interdisciplinary team
• Complete patient assessments and admissions
• Develop and manage individualized care plans
• Provide skilled nursing care, education, and treatment
• Coordinate care with patients, families, and providers
• Document care and review charts
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care

  Qualifications

  What you’ll bring

  • Graduate of an approved School of Nursing
  • Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
  • At least one year of acute care nursing experience (home care experience preferred)
  • Comfort working with various computer systems; experience with handheld clinical devices preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to work with diverse populations
  • Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and electronic
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills with the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work independently and remain self-directed in unpredictable situations
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of an interdisciplinary care team
  • Willingness to travel within the MGB Healthcare at Home geographic area
