Employment Type: Seasonal

Pay Rate: $17.00/hour

Schedule: Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and during school breaks. Schedule varies and is dependent on weather and guest attendance; schedule subject to change and may require late shift hours of up to 11 pm for special programs.

Sales Associate

Essential duties may include:

Handle all in-park ticket & membership sales

Validate tickets and admit entry into the park and various exhibits/attractions

Actively promote and inform guests about our diverse assortment of premium products; such as memberships

Process all transactions through the ticketing point-of-sale system

Assist with the operation of the Central Park Zoo 4D Theater

  • Inspect assigned work area prior to and during park hours, looking for safety hazards, facility issues, housekeeping needs, potential injuries, etc. Report issues to supervisor or Area Manager.
  • Providing superior service to guests, including maintaining general knowledge of park attractions, amenities, and enforcing general park policies
  • Assisting the team in carrying out any additional operational duties
