As an integral member of the Questrom School of Business Graduate Admissions & Financial Aid Office (GAFAO) team, the Admissions Specialist, Specialized Masters Programs supports daily admissions and recruitment activities for the schools specialized master's programs. Reporting to the Associate Director of Graduate Admissions, Specialized Masters Programs, this role serves as the primary point of contact for prospective MS in Finance (MSF) and MS in Mathematical Finance & Financial Technology (MSMFT) candidates, managing communications and providing expert guidance throughout the admissions process.
The Admissions Specialist also supports other MS programs, including the MS in Business Analytics (MSBA) and master's in management (MiM), as needed. The Admissions Specialist assists with application review, interview coordination, decision release processes, and recruitment events both domestically and internationally. This role oversees the I-20 process for incoming MSF and MSMFT international students, as well as manages temporary employees who read applications for all MS programs. Working closely with the Associate Director and admissions team, this position supports strategic enrollment goals and ensures a seamless and engaging candidate experience.
B.S./B.A. required, exceptional oral and written communication skills, proficiency in MS Office, demonstrated ability to speak and present, and one to two years of experience in admissions, higher education, or similar industry preferred. The position requires evening and weekend work, as well as domestic and international travel.
