Responsible for developing a practical knowledge and understanding of departmental functions in addition to developing and refining methods necessary to carry assigned work to completion. Work is performs under general supervision of management level personnel and is evaluated on the basis of the completion of assigned tasks.45808BRUp to 50% 3958.92

    • Participate in the recruitment, retention, attrition and persistence of JAMP
    • Attend admissions programs recruitment events (fairs, tabling) Attend TACRAO college fairs as an admissions representative
    • Attend other special programs recruitment activities as assigned
    • Participating in medical student panels
    • Recruit current medical students for panels
    • Distribute special programs recruitment materials at Texas Tech University and/or other universities
    • Compile testimonials from current JAMP Scholars and alumni
    • Update and/or create presentations
    • Perform other duties as assigned in support of Admissions and special programs
    • Create social media posts for the office of admissions and special programs
    • Compose articles for the office of admissions and special programs

    No 1729.83Monthlyall times of the day and or week but mainly M-F 8a-5p, with weekends on rotationLubbock

    Prefer candidate be enrolled in the School of Medicine as a fourth-year medical student.

    The candidate must be approved by the institution as a vehicle driver.

    Prior experience with the Joint Admissions Medical Program (JAMP).
