The Admixture Technician plays a critical role within the pharmacy and clinical care team by accurately and efficiently preparing medications to support patient treatment. This position focuses on the technical aspects of medication preparation, sterile compounding, inventory management, and clean room operations while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. It offers an excellent opportunity for a Certified Pharmacy Technician to gain hands-on experience in IV admixture and oncology pharmacy practices through structured on-the-job training within an established specialty practice.

Work Environment
This role is based in a specialty pharmacy admixture and infusion environment in Salem, Oregon, supporting oncology and other specialty care patients. The Admixture Technician works primarily in clean room settings, handling both hazardous and non-hazardous medications while collaborating closely with pharmacists, nurses, and providers. The environment demands strict adherence to safety, quality, and sterile compounding procedures, including compliance with USP 797, USP 800, and OSHA standards. This is a full-time position with rotating weekday and weekend shifts. Weekday shifts typically include an opening shift from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, a mid shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and a closing shift from 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM. Weekend shifts generally run from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and from approximately 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Every other weekend is required, and some holidays are also required. Technicians receive an additional 10% shift differential for weekend hours worked. The work environment emphasizes teamwork, precision, and patient-centered care. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.94 - $35.48/hr.
