Adobe Campaign Manager (AC7)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Adobe Campaign Manager (AC7) / Adobe Campaign Classic Technical Lead with 12 15 years of overall IT experience and strong hands-on expertise in Adobe Campaign Classic (AC7). The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale marketing campaign solutions and integrations.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Adobe Campaign workflows, schemas, JavaScript, SQL, data management, campaign execution, integrations, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain Adobe Campaign Classic (AC7) solutions.
• Develop complex campaign workflows, targeting workflows, technical workflows, and recurring campaigns.
• Configure and customize schemas, forms, typologies, delivery templates, offers, and campaign components.
• Develop and maintain JavaScript, SQL, XML, and XTK-based customizations within Adobe Campaign.
• Build audience segmentation and targeting solutions using customer and transactional data.
• Design and implement campaign processes for email, SMS, direct mail, and other marketing channels.
• Configure and troubleshoot deliveries, delivery logs, tracking logs, broad logs, and campaign execution issues.
• Develop integrations between Adobe Campaign and external systems using APIs, web services, SFTP, ETL processes, and middleware.
• Work with enterprise data sources, databases, and customer data platforms to support campaign execution.
• Analyze campaign performance and troubleshoot data, workflow, delivery, and integration issues.
• Support production deployments, incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning.
• Work closely with business analysts, marketing teams, data teams, architects, and application development teams.
• Participate in requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Create technical documentation, deployment procedures, runbooks, and knowledge-transfer materials.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior Adobe Campaign developers.

Required Skills

• 12 15 years of overall IT experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Campaign Classic / Adobe Campaign v7 (AC7).
• Extensive experience developing Adobe Campaign workflows.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Campaign schemas, forms, typologies, deliveries, and technical workflows.
• Strong programming experience with JavaScript and XTK.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Experience with XML/XSLT and Adobe Campaign data structures.
• Experience with campaign segmentation and audience targeting.
• Experience with email marketing and campaign management processes.
• Experience troubleshooting Adobe Campaign workflows and production issues.
• Strong understanding of data integration and ETL concepts.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and web services.
• Experience working with SFTP/file-based integrations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience integrating Adobe Campaign with Adobe Experience Cloud products.
• Knowledge of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and customer data concepts.
• Experience with Adobe Analytics / Adobe Target integrations.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with enterprise marketing automation and customer engagement platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD and deployment automation.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
