The Charles Evans Center (CEC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center, providing comprehensive medical, dental and mental health services. The center specializes in meeting the needs of adults and children with developmental disabilities. Our team-based approach puts patients at the center of their care. Using the highest standard of medical care; we give the patients the tools they need to achieve their best health. We have great opportunities for positive, motivated individuals to work in an OMH & OASAS outpatient clinic setting. In this vital role, you will: Conduct all aspects of psychotherapy with families, children, and adolescentsAttend supervisory sessions as scheduled and demonstrate motivation for learning and willingness to take direction.Attend weekly social work meetings arriving promptly, participating actively in the process and assuming responsibility for rotating presentations.Attend annual agency training for Quality Assurance including fire safety, mandated reporting of abuse and universal precautions.Initiate and maintain contact with other agency departments regarding your patients as necessary and appropriate in the service of quality treatment. We require: Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health CounselingCurrent NYS License in LMSW/LCSW, or LMHCExperience working with children and adolescentsStrong clinical experience, requiredBilingual Spanish, required We look forward to talking with you!
