ADT Command Installation Technician -- On-Call Contractor

Donovan Smart Home Technology is looking for an experienced ADT installation technician in the Pittsburgh area for on-call installation work.

What You’ll Be Installing

You must have hands-on experience installing and servicing:

• ADT Command panels
• Door and window sensors
• Motion detectors
• Keypads / touchscreens
• Smoke / CO detectors
• Video doorbells
• Google / Nest cameras
• Basic smart home devices
• Wi-Fi camera setup and app connection

Responsibilities

• Complete professional ADT Command installations
• Install and configure Google / Nest cameras when needed
• Test all equipment before leaving the home
• Help the customer understand how to use the system
• Confirm installation completion with photos, notes, and customer sign-off
• Communicate clearly with dispatch before, during, and after each job
• Keep the work area clean and professional

Requirements

• Must have experience with ADT Command
• Must know how to install and configure Google / Nest cameras
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have your own tools and ladder
• Must have a smartphone for communication, photos, and job updates
• Must be professional with customers
• Must be reliable and available for on-call jobs
• Low-voltage, alarm, security camera, or smart home experience required
• Background check may be required

Preferred Experience

• ADT dealer or alarm company experience
• CCTV / camera installation experience
• Basic networking / Wi-Fi troubleshooting
• Smart lock, video doorbell, and smart home automation experience
• Bilingual English / Spanish is a plus
