Baptist Health is looking to add an Admissions and Discharge Registered Nurse at Baptist Medical Center Beaches. This is a fulltime Monday-Thursday 10:00am - 8:30pm shift opportunity.

Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services. Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care. Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care. Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.
*Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care.

As a Registered Nurse you will be Responsible for: 

  • For admission, history, admission assessment, skin check and verify the home medication list for completion
  • For discharges, ADT RN will review with primary RN for the flowing needs: review the final medication reconciliation for completion, discharge education review with patient and family, removal of INT if in place, and complete final discharge note
  • Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement
  • Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital
