THE POSITION
The Department of Corrections (DOC) is seeking an Adult Basic Education Teacher, Correction Education who is ready to teach adult learners in a secure, structured setting. This role at the State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Coal Township offers the opportunity to provide instruction that strengthens academic skills and supports educational advancement. Your guidance will help inmates stay engaged and focused as they work toward their learning goals. This position provides adult basic education to incarcerated students and supports instructional needs at SCI Coal Township. As an Adult Basic Education Teacher, Correction Education, you will perform the following duties:
