Bachelor's degree, including or supplemented by 15 credits in vocational guidance or other courses directly related to vocational counseling preparation.
One year professional experience in vocational guidance and counseling.
Master's degree preferred in psychology education, social work, personnel administration, counseling, or related fields which shall have included a minimum of 15 credits of graduate study in vocational guidance or other courses directly related to counseling preparation may be substituted for one year experience.
Ability to work effectively and meet deadlines in a multi-tasking work environment.
Experience working with individuals who are unemployed preferred.
New Jersey driver's license and access to a car is required.
Ability to speak a second language - Spanish highly preferred.
New Jersey residency required within one (1) year from date of hire.
