STARTING DATE: Current School Year, on an as-needed basis REPORTS TO: Supervisor of Workforce Development WORK YEAR: August-May; Monday through Thursday evenings from 4:00-9:00 PM as needed SALARY RANGE: $38 per hour QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent Previous or current teaching certificate is not required Adult Education licensure process will be completed upon hire Minimum of 5 years documented related industry experience Ability to communicate effectively in an adult education environment Dependable and flexible to various work schedules Ability to maintain a clean and organized workshop Documented evidence of a clear criminal record PENTA CAREER CENTER HAS A NEED TO HIRE QUALIFIED ADULT EDUCATION INSTRUCTORS IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS: Auto Technology CNC/Precision Machining Computer Technology Construction Technology Culinary Arts Electrical (Residential & Commercial) HVAC Technology Manufacuring Intro Masonry/Concrete Finishing Nursing/Medical Technology Painting Plumbing Technology Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) Robotics Welding Other Positions as Needed RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Provide students with skill building instruction and relevant practice within the trade/career area Teach students the key components of a safe work environment and provide an opportunity to secure relevant and meaningful industry credentials/certifications Ability to work evenings during the academic year from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday OR as-needed for short term training situations Maintain complete and accurate records as required by law, district policy and administrative regulation Actively assist in upholding and enforcing school rules, administrative regulation and Board Policy Remain free of any non-prescribed controlled substance or alcohol abuse in the workplace throughout employment * Assume any other responsibilities as assigned by the Board of Education, Superintendent, Supervisor, or their designee(s) DEADLINE: Open until filled.
