Adult / Family Nurse Practitioner (Bilingual Bengali) – Bronx, NY.
Location: Bronx, NY. Employment Type: Part-time. Salary: $140,000 – $160,000/year (full-time; prorated for part-time). Schedule: Part-time, Monday–Friday, with 1–2 Saturdays per month.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an Adult/Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team at a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, NY. In this role, you'll provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population in a collaborative, supportive outpatient setting.

Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license; Board Certified.
1 year of experience strongly preferred (open to new graduates).
Bilingual in Bengali, or relevant experience supporting Bengali-speaking or comparable communities.
Proficient in physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and utilizing electronic health records.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong clinical judgment, empathy, patient-centered focus, and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive physical examinations and patient observations.
Record and analyze patients' medical histories and symptoms.
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, and contribute to existing ones.
Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
Diagnose acute and chronic health issues and prescribe appropriate treatments and medications.
Monitor and operate medical equipment as needed.
Detect changes in patients' health and modify treatment plans accordingly.
Consult with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals within the practice.
Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment options, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in electronic medical records.
