Provide Probation and/or Parole supervision to adults mandated to probation or granted parole by Tribal Court. Skilled in working with the criminal element, ensuring assertive supervision, and must be knowledgeable in native community traditions and needs, law enforcement, community corrections, community service procedures, case management skills, must have strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Requirements
Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice or related field, or three year's experience within the tribal criminal justice system. A combination of education and experience is acceptable. DPSST Certified or obtain certification within one year of hire as well as passing the Tribal Bar. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid Oregon Driver's License. Must have no felonies, no disqualifying misdemeanors or other misdemeanors within one year of application. Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.
