Overview:
Adult Psychiatrist Moonlighting Opportunity in Mason, OH

Board Certified Psychiatrist needed for weekend/holiday coverage.
 
Position Highlights:
About the Opportunity:
  • Inpatient holiday and/or weekend coverage for 2 adult inpatient units, 16 beds each.
  • Availability by phone/Epic chat for admission orders and inpatient/residential orders from 3pm on Friday to 8am on Monday (this can vary for holiday coverage).
  • In person availability on Saturday for initial assessments of new patients admitted after noon on Friday and follow-up patients.
  • In person availability on Sunday for initial assessments of new patients admitted Saturday evening until noon on Sunday and follow-up patients.
  • Initial assessments for weekend residential admissions (infrequent occurrence).
  • Respond to occasional calls from outpatients transferred via the answering service for urgent issues that can’t wait until the next business day.
  • Medical hospitalists perform the physical exams and medical consults.
  • Excellent clinician collaboration, supportive environment.
  • About thirty minutes north of Cincinnati, OH.
Qualifications:
  • Board Certification
  • Unrestricted OH medical license and OH DEA
  • Active BLS
All candidates extended conditional offer of employment will be subject to a WebCheck (BCI & FBI Fingerprinting). Fingerprints will be submitted to the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The reports from these agencies will include criminal record information.  Lindner Center of Hope will follow the requirements for employment based on the State of Ohio Administrative Code 5122-30-31, and any other regulatory requirements regarding criminal background checks. Lindner Center of Hope also reserves the right to obtain Consumer Reports and/or Investigative Consumer Reports as defined in the Federal Fair Credit Reporting ACT (FCRA).
