Adult Social Worker - Learning Disabilities Team

Liquid Personnel is recruiting Adult Social Worker - Learning Disabilities Team at Redcar and Cleveland

What will your responsibilities be?

• Care Act Assessment — Complete strengths‑based Care Act assessments and reviews for adults with learning disabilities, ensuring eligibility decisions are clear, person‑centred, and aligned with statutory duties and best‑practice LD approaches.
• Risk, Safeguarding & MCA — Manage safeguarding concerns, undertake Section 42 enquiries where required, apply the Mental Capacity Act in complex decision‑making, and develop proportionate risk‑management plans that promote safety and autonomy.
• Support Planning & Multi‑Agency Work — Develop outcome‑focused support plans, commission appropriate services, and work collaboratively with health partners, providers, education, and community networks to enable independence, inclusion, and improved quality of life

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have, 

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
