Adult Softball Umpire (56730)

Love softball and want to get paid to be around the game? Join our team as an Adult Softball Umpire and earn extra income while enjoying Friday nights at the ballpark!

Pay Rate:

• $24-$29 per game, depending on whether you are working alone or with a partner

• Earn up to $116 per night

Schedule:

• Friday nights, April through October

• Games run between 6:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

• Each game lasts approximately 1 hour

Location:

• Peruque Valley Park, located about two miles southwest of Wentzville

Position Overview:

Adult Softball Umpires officiate recreational softball games for adult players (ages 18+). This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy softball, working with adults, and being part of a fun, active environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Interest in softball and willingness to learn officiating rules

• Ability to work evening hours on Fridays

• Comfortable working independently or with a partner

Training:

• Training is provided by our Head Umpire - no prior umpiring experience required

This is an independent contractor position and is not considered an employee of the City of Wentzville. Contractors will receive a 1099 for work performed and are not eligible to participate in the City of Wentzville's benefits programs.
