    Description

    Hiring Range: $135,000.00 – $145,000.00

    Actual pay depends on specialty, experience, and performance

    Riverside Medical Group is excited to continue expanding our Urgent Care services at M.D. Express. We are actively recruiting Full-Time, Part-Time, and Labor Pool Advanced Practice Providers (Nurse Practitioners / Physician Assistant) to join our team and serve patients across the Hampton Roads region.

    In this role: You must be able to see patients of all ages this includes Infants, Children, Teens and Adults

    Job Details:

    • Excellent judgment and discretion; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and handle work-related stress is required.

    • Friendly, courteous, service-oriented, professional, outgoing, and customer service oriented.

    • Remain calm and professional in stressful situations.

    • Detail oriented while maintaining an extremely positive attitude

    • Recognize problems, identify possible causes and resolve routine problems

    We offer full-time, part-time and labor pool positions and welcome Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner applicants.

    Our urgent care providers are scheduled to work in our five M.D. Express locations, including Williamsburg, Yorktown, Newport News, Hampton, and Gloucester. M.D. Express Urgent Care is open 9:00 am - 9:00 pm 7 days a week.

    Licensure & Certification

    • Current Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Virginia or eligibility to obtain.
    • Current Physician Assistant license in the State of Virginia or eligibility to obtain.
    • National Board Certification:
      • NP: AANP or ANCC certification
      • PA: NCCPA certification
    • Valid DEA registration (or ability to obtain prior to start).
    • BLS required; ACLS preferred, especially if the role includes hospital or procedural work.
    • For surgical assisting duties:
      • NP: Credentialing for surgical first assist if the role requires it (varies by employer).
      • PA: PAs are automatically eligible to function as surgical first assists.
