Performs assembly duties using assembly devices such as drills, rivets, staplers, air drivers, and nut runners.
Operates ultrasonic and solvent bonding equipment.
Works with pneumatic, hydraulic, or electric tools, or combinations thereof.
Packages finished or in-process materials.
Conducts in-process inspection and checking.
Moves material within the department as required.
Requirements:
Ability to safely operate drills, rivet guns, staplers, air drivers, and nut runners.
Ability to identify defects or deviations during in-process inspection.
Ability to read and follow assembly specifications/work instructions for checking work.
Physical ability to lift, carry, and move materials within the department.
Attention to detail and manual dexterity for precision assembly tasks.
This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. As a condition of employment, employees are required to join the union after 30 days of employment.
