Responsibilities


+ Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to the advanced cardiac imaging team (Echocardiography, nuclear/PET, CT and MRI) within the market, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.

+ Business Development: Expand access and grow new cardiac imaging modalities in the Arizona Market

+ Provide oversight to fellows in general cardiology program related to imaging and develop a cardiac imaging fellowship program

+ Clinical Oversight: Ensure the delivery of high-quality advanced cardiac imaging services across all facilities within the region, maintaining adherence to best practices, protocols, and standards of care.

+ Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and safety of advanced cardiac imaging procedures and interpretations.

+ Education and Training: Develop and implement educational programs for physicians, technologists, and staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in advanced cardiac imaging techniques and technologies.

+ Research and Innovation: Foster a culture of research and innovation, collaborating with academic institutions, industry partners, and internal stakeholders to advance the field of advanced cardiac imaging.

+ Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and guidelines related to advanced cardiac imaging services.

+ Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including cardiologists, radiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals, to optimize patient care and outcomes.

+ Patient Advocacy: Advocate for patient-centered care, ensuring that advanced cardiac imaging services are accessible, equitable, and patient-friendly.


Qualifications


+ Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.

+ Board certification in Cardiology, Radiology, or Nuclear Medicine with subspecialty training or expertise in advanced cardiac imaging (e.g., cardiac MRI, cardiac CT, nuclear cardiology).

+ Level III Certification in Cardiac CT, ECHO and/or MRI

+ Eligibility for medical licensure in the region(s) of practice.

+ Demonstrated leadership experience in academic, clinical, or administrative roles.

+ Proven track record of scholarly activity, including research publications and presentations in the field of advanced cardiac imaging.

+ Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.

+ Commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and quality improvement.


Preferred Qualifications:


+ Advanced degree (e.g., Master of Business Administration, Master of Public Health) or equivalent experience in healthcare management or administration.

+ Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex healthcare projects.

+ Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, financial management, and business operations.
