In addition, the advanced clinical pharmacist is expected to lead pharmacy services within the hospital by serving or chairing hospital committees, presenting at conferences and contributing to publications, and providing regular, formal education to pharmacy and interdisciplinary teams.

Advanced Clinical Pharmacist BMT

The Transplant Cellular Therapy Clinical Pharmacy Specialist is responsible for the provision of comprehensive clinical pharmacy services for the TCT clinic. This individual serves as a resource for the BMT/Cellular Therapy, the interdisciplinary team, and other pharmacists. Duties will include the coordination, education, and medication management of anti-neoplastic and immunomodulating medications, with oversight of organization-wide collaboration on quality projects. Participation on multi-disciplinary rounds including pharmacokinetic and therapeutic consultation will be performed.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

• Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (PharmD) Required!

EXPERIENCE:

• Looking for a Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) – Completed a residency in this area and has a few years of RECENT (WITHIN THE LAST YEAR) Pharmacist in an acute hospital setting * MUST HAVE ONCOLOGY and BMT EXPERIENCE
• Candidates MUST HAVE TCT, CAR-T, or BMT EXPERIENCE
• Must have FL Pharmacy License.
