Advanced CNC Process Development Engineer

Direct Hire

Blend hands-on manufacturing engineering with deep CAM/CNC programming to elevate precision, efficiency, and automation across our production floor. You’ll drive NPI readiness, refine existing processes, and integrate Industry 4.0 technologies to create scalable, high-quality outcomes.

A day in the role

  1. Review previous shift KPIs and machine dashboards to pinpoint cycle-time and quality opportunities.
  2. Head to the floor to collaborate with machinists, validate fixtures, and tune programs for mills and lathes.
  3. Build or refine CAM toolpaths; adjust G/M-code on machines to eliminate bottlenecks.
  4. Prototype and validate methods for a new product introduction, including process capability and documentation.
  5. Meet cross-functional partners to plan an automation upgrade (robot paths, PLC logic, vision checks).
  6. Close the loop with root-cause analysis on a quality issue and implement corrective actions.

What you’ll own
