Role highlights
- Own setups and operations on CNC mills and lathes to meet dimensional and finish requirements.
- Translate blueprints, drawings, and CAD data into efficient machining plans.
- Continuously monitor cycles; fine-tune offsets, feeds, and speeds for quality and throughput.
- Conduct rigorous inspections using hand metrology tools to verify conformance.
- Keep your station organized and safe; follow shop protocols without compromise.
- Troubleshoot issues collaboratively and share best practices with peers.
- Document setups, adjustments, and production activity with accuracy.
Minimum qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in a CNC machinist capacity.
- Operational fluency with CNC equipment and practical knowledge of G-code.
- Solid grasp of tools, materials, and standard machining processes.
- Ability to decipher technical drawings and related documentation.
- Keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when required.
