Advanced Development Engineering Manager

Position:   Advanced Development Engineering Manager

Location:  Nashua, NH

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales and manufacturing locations globally. We are currently seeking an Advanced Development Engineering Manager to join our team in Nashua, NH.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and develop a team focused on development of new technologies and implementation into product designs
• Develop advanced cable technologies and identify new product and market opportunities
• Own the technology roadmap and drive new products from concept to product feasibility
• Accelerate innovation while improving development speed, and execution
• Partner with suppliers and customers to convert market needs into successful products
• Coordinate with other teams to deliver a total solution to customers
• Build engineering capability, accountability, and future leaders across the organization
• Mentor the Engineering team to grow and develop team capability and new leaders

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical field
• 10+ years of engineering and 5+ years of team leadership experience
• Proven success in developing and launching new products
• Cable or connector development experience
