The Advanced Engineering Mechanic II role involves testing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a large healthcare facility in the Pacific Northwest. The candidate will perform maintenance rounds, troubleshoot issues, and carry out repairs with minimal supervision to ensure a safe, efficient environment.
Key responsibilities include maintaining safety and infection control standards, servicing MEP equipment, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, organizing manuals, managing inventory, ensuring code compliance, and coordinating with external contractors.
Qualifications require at least 5 years of maintenance experience in a healthcare setting, proficiency in relevant skills, the ability to troubleshoot independently, physical capability for manual tasks, and flexibility. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a valid driver’s license. Preferred certifications include Healthcare Mechanic, C-10, or General Electrician’s License, with EPA Refrigerant certification a plus.
