Job Summary

Applies specialized knowledge within a primary technical discipline while contributing to cross-functional efforts. Supports testing activities from concept through verification and validation.

 

Job Description

  • Proficient in applying a broad range of analytical and technical tools within a single technical discipline (e.g., Mechanical, QA, V&V), with a strong emphasis on Risk Reduction Testing (RRT) and Verification and Validation (V&V).
  • Support work in a secondary technical discipline to enhance cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proactively seek assignments and identify a wide range of tasks; may lead selected technical activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues, including the use of Instron testing.
  • Provide guidance to designers and technicians.
  • Support training, mentoring, and coaching initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supervisors, engineers, designers/technicians, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Participate in recruiting and team selection processes.
  • Support testing from concept through V&V and beyond as needed.

 

Skills Required

  • Minimum 5 Years of designing/drafting Experience Preferred
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills within a primary technical discipline.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of Risk Reduction Testing (RRT) and Verification and Validation (V&V).
  • Experience with technical tools and testing equipment (e.g., Instron).
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems.

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Associate’s degree or completion of a 2-year trade or military school (required)

 

Additional Requirements

  • Must pass a drug screening and criminal background checks
  • Start Shift: 08:00 AM
  • Minimum of 5 years of designing/drafting experience (preferred)
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and disciplines
  • Experience supporting testing processes from concept through validation
  • Willingness to mentor, coach, or guide team members as needed

 

Pay Rate/Salary

  • Estimated Salary: $36.03 to $44.03 per hour. Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors.
