Step Into a Day as Our Advanced Machining Solutions Sales Engineer

You start your morning reviewing new RFQs and technical specs from prospective customers. With coffee in hand, you translate those requirements into conceptual process flows and system layouts—turning, grinding, gear hobbing and grinding, ECM/PECM, laser processing, robotics, and automation all on the table. By mid-morning, you huddle with the Technical Sales Manager to align on strategy and next steps. After lunch, you’re on calls with key suppliers to validate feasibility, nail down cost details, and confirm lead times. The afternoon is about precision: building cost sheets, pressure-testing assumptions, and preparing accurate, competitive quotations. Before you close the laptop, you join a cross-functional review with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to de-risk the concept and finalize a compelling proposal package.
