Your Impact
In this role, you’ll be the expert who bridges blueprint to reality. You’ll own setups, machining, verification, and continuous improvement across CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and manual equipment to deliver on exact specifications and timelines.
What You’ll Own
- Set up and operate CNC/manual machines to exact tolerances and specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models for accurate production.
- Select tooling, fixtures, and materials; perform setups and make on-machine adjustments.
- Verify quality using micrometers, calipers, and CMM; document conformance.
- Execute routine machine maintenance; report mechanical concerns immediately.
- Drive process optimization with engineering/production to cut cycle time and boost efficiency.
- Champion a safe, orderly work environment and follow all safety protocols.
- Accurately log production counts, material usage, and deviations from spec.
What You Bring
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in machining/manufacturing preferred.
- Experience: 2–3 years in a machining role within manufacturing; basic CNC programming/G-code familiarity is a plus.
- Technical Strengths:
- Proven capability on CNC and manual machines.
- Fluency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Competence with precision measurement and quality systems.
- Detail-focused, analytical problem solver.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently.
- Physical Requirements: Stand for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs; perform repetitive tasks.
- Preferred Certifications: Forklift certification or other relevant credentials.
