INNIO employs over 5,000 people worldwide and is committed to moving energy forward.The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer (AME) – Conrod is responsible for the development, optimization, and industrialization of manufacturing processes for connecting rod (conrod) components. This role supports the ramp‑up of machining operations in Waukesha, ensuring robust, cost‑effective, and high‑quality production aligned with INNIO standards.What You'll DoDevelop and optimize machining processes for conrod manufacturing (e.g., milling, drilling, honing, finishing)Define and maintain manufacturing BOMs, routings, and work instructions, including standard timesSupport production ramp‑up, including line setup, process validation, and troubleshootingDrive continuous improvement of quality, cycle time, and cost using Lean and Six Sigma principlesAnalyze tooling, consumables, and machining parameters to improve process capability and reduce costCollaborate with Engineering/Design to ensure manufacturability of conrod componentsLead or support industrialization activities, including fixture design and equipment specificationWork cross‑functionally with global teams (e.g., Jenbach) to transfer and standardize processesMonitor KPIs and implement corrective actions for safety, quality, delivery, and cost performanceWhat You'll HaveBachelor degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in machining or production engineering, ideally with precision components (e.g., engine parts, rods, cranktrain)Experience with assembly and/or machining of heavy industrial equipmentStrong understanding of CNC machining processes and tooling conceptsExperience with ERP systems (preferably Oracle) and manufacturing data structures (BOMs, routings)Ability to travel to Austria up to 10 % of time, including for a long‑term training assignmentAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&TSolid project management and problem‑solving skillsWillingness and ability to travel internationally (primarily to Jenbach, Austria) to support training, knowledge transfer, and production ramp‑up, including for extended training periodsAdditional InformationLocation: Waukesha, WIWork Schedule: Onsite Monday through FridayVisa Sponsorship: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship#J-18808-Ljbffr
