About the roleThe Advanced Manufacturing Engineer assumes a high level of responsibility supporting the implementation of new manufacturing technologies across various sites. This engineer will collaborate cross-functionally with R&D/Product Development, Supply Chain, and Quality Engineering to develop manufacturing processes and custom equipment that will bring Harry's next generation products into mass production. Additionally, this role will support existing manufacturing by developing specifications for new equipment to help scale the business globally. Successful candidates can learn fast and work independently. They can work in a cross-functional environment with a global presence developing new manufacturing processes and machinery in line with the needs of the business.What you will accomplishInitiating, leading, and executing on product industrialization activities including equipment selection, process development, process characterization and process validation, in support of existing product changes and new product development.Performing design for manufacturing/automation, equipment, and labor capacity planning. Driving key performance indicators such as Technical Capability, Cost, Timing, Performance, Quality, Yield and Availability throughout projects and into production.Providing in-depth knowledge of problem solving linked to manufacturing processes and equipment.Collaborating with cross-functional team members throughout product development phases to ensure program success. Supporting internal and external manufacturing, and site to site manufacturing transfer projects.Making data driven decisions using appropriate analytical methodologies.
