About the roleThe Advanced Manufacturing Engineer assumes a high level of responsibility supporting the implementation of new manufacturing technologies across various sites. This engineer will collaborate cross-functionally with R&D/Product Development, Supply Chain, and Quality Engineering to develop manufacturing processes and custom equipment that will bring Harry's next generation products into mass production. Additionally, this role will support existing manufacturing by developing specifications for new equipment to help scale the business globally. Successful candidates can learn fast and work independently. They can work in a cross-functional environment with a global presence developing new manufacturing processes and machinery in line with the needs of the business.What you will accomplishInitiating, leading, and executing on product industrialization activities including equipment selection, process development, process characterization and process validation, in support of existing product changes and new product development.Performing design for manufacturing/automation, equipment, and labor capacity planning. Driving key performance indicators such as Technical Capability, Cost, Timing, Performance, Quality, Yield and Availability throughout projects and into production.Providing in-depth knowledge of problem solving linked to manufacturing processes and equipment.Collaborating with cross-functional team members throughout product development phases to ensure program success. Supporting internal and external manufacturing, and site to site manufacturing transfer projects.Making data driven decisions using appropriate analytical methodologies. Employing equipment, processes and procedures which promote a healthy, safe, and secure work environment.Driving industrialization efforts by collaborating cross-functionally on key software and controls projects.Making data driven decisions by leveraging production data to execute thorough root cause analyses.Driving manufacturing performance visibility through the creation and implementation of internal tools and dashboards.Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to travel 25%-50%Job qualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar (5+ yrs. of experience)Experience and ability working around complex and sensitive manufacturing equipment and instrumentationExperience defining manufacturing processes and specifications for custom equipmentExperience with a wide array of manufacturing and metrology methodologiesExperience with basic CAD and/or programming skillsExperience with controls engineering and/or software development projectsAbility to complete work assignments from written documentation and/or prints, as well as verbal instructionsAbility to read and work from technical drawings and instructionsAbility to translate synthesized data into manufacturing processes that will yield desired results in a mass production environmentCapable of developing equipment to deliver new products from our R&D pipelineCapable of scaling existing manufacturing processes with newer and improved machineryCapable of extracting engineering data from various sources and processing and presenting in clear communicationsInteracts successfully with engineers, scientists, and production workers in factory settings across the globeApproaches work with a focus on the important detailsCommunicates effectively with all levels of coworkers and collaboratorsBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision coverageEquity in Mammoth BrandsFlexible time off and working hoursL&D stipend4 weeks sabbatical after 5 years, 6 weeks after 10 years, and 8 weeks after 15 years20 fully paid weeks off for parents who give birth, or 16 fully paid weeks off for all other paths to parenthoodFun IRL and virtual events including happy hours, team building events, and parties on our rooftopFree products from our family of brandsSalary: The base salary hiring range for this position is $132,000-$160,000, but the final compensation offer will ultimately be based on the candidate's location, skill level and experience.Mammoth Brands is committed to bringing together individuals from different backgrounds and perspectives.
