Your Impact Own expert-level break-fix and preventive maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems—plus complex, integrated equipment. Program, refine, and troubleshoot advanced control systems to resolve high-level software, hardware, and configuration issues. Deploy predictive tools—infrared thermography, ultrasonic testing, power quality analysis, laser interferometry, ball bar, and vibration analysis—to diagnose condition and prevent failures. Champion CI: lead and participate in initiatives using recognized methodologies to improve processes and capture cost savings. Find, qualify, and procure parts and supplies; recommend engineered alternatives that enhance reliability. Execute maintenance independently to industry standards; uphold 5S and world-class housekeeping. Operate machining equipment (lathe, drill press, grinder, and more) to fabricate/repair parts; perform welding as required. Research emerging tools and techniques; document and share best practices across ATS sites. Contribute to cost analyses for new equipment, rebuilds, savings opportunities, and innovation proposals. Maintain meticulous documentation; review CMMS history and analyze data to drive decisions. Provide technical substance for sales quotations; perform time-and-materials (T&M) work when needed. Mentor technicians; take on project management responsibilities as assigned. Advance your career with structured OJT and self-directed technical learning. Work safely—follow policies and instructions; maintain situational awareness and call out unsafe acts/conditions. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Associate degree with a technical focus and 7+ years in a relevant industry; or 10+ years of industry experience. Hands-on proficiency with predictive technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, laser interferometer), precision alignments, and process equipment maintenance. Fluency in electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems; adept at root-cause analysis and repair. Comfort using a full range of hand and specialized tools. Ability to travel as required. Six Sigma background preferred. Physical Demands & Environment Regular activities: standing, walking, manual dexterity, reaching, climbing ladders/lifts, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling in tight spaces; frequent verbal communication. Occasional sitting; occasional lifting/moving over 50 pounds. Regular close and color vision use. Occasional exposure to outdoor weather and electrical shock risk. Work is typically performed in a very loud factory setting with potential exposure to hazardous materials and greasy or slippery floors.
