    Position Summary

    The Advanced Practice Clinician provides health care to Laboratory employees through the Occupational Health Division, delivering clinical care within the scope of occupational medicine. This role supports occupational health objectives by assisting Laboratory occupational physicians, serving as a clinical resource for Occupational Health staff, and applying sound clinical judgment to resolve a wide range of employee health issues in a creative, effective, and compliant manner.

    This is a fully qualified, career-oriented position that works under limited direction and requires the ability to apply Laboratory objectives, occupational medicine practices, and clinical expertise to support safe, responsive, and high-quality employee health services.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide health care services to Laboratory employees through the Occupational Health Division within the occupational medicine scope of practice.
    • Assist Laboratory occupational physicians in the delivery of occupational health services, medical evaluations, treatment, follow-up care, and employee health support.
    • Serve as a clinical resource for Occupational Health staff by providing guidance, support, and subject matter expertise on occupational medicine and clinically related issues.
    • Apply Laboratory objectives, clinical standards, and occupational health practices to resolve a wide range of employee health issues in creative and effective ways.
    • Work under limited direction while exercising independent clinical judgment, maintaining professional standards, and supporting quality, safety, regulatory, and program requirements.
    • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support coordination with physicians, staff, and stakeholders involved in employee occupational health services.
