The Opportunity

We are hiring a Pediatric Advanced Practice Clinician to support same‑day pediatric access at our Lincoln Avenue Medical‑Dental Clinic in Yakima, WA.

This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys fast‑paced, problem‑focused pediatric care, values access and continuity, and wants to make an immediate impact for families who rely on timely appointments.

You will focus primarily on same‑day pediatric visits, including acute illness, minor injuries, follow‑ups, and urgent concerns-while working closely with a larger pediatric care team to ensure safe handoffs and continuity.

• Provide same‑day pediatric care for infants, children, and adolescents
• Address acute and urgent concerns while maintaining high-quality, family‑centered care
• Support access goals by reducing emergency department utilization and improving timely care
• Practice within a team‑based, mission‑driven environment with strong operational support

This is not an urgent care clinic-and not an independent silo role. You are part of an integrated pediatric team with shared expectations, standards, and support.

Strong Clinical & Wraparound Support at Lincoln Avenue

Same‑day access at Lincoln is backed by a robust, multidisciplinary support structure, so clinicians can focus on clinical decision‑making while patients receive comprehensive, coordinated care.

At Lincoln, you'll work alongside and be supported by:

• Behavioral Health Consultants (BHCs) embedded in clinic to support same‑day behavioral health needs, screenings, and warm handoffs
• Registered Dietitians available for nutrition counseling, growth concerns, and chronic condition support
• Lactation Support Services for infants and families, with close coordination between providers and nursing staff
• Dedicated Nursing Teams experienced in pediatric care, immunizations, care coordination, and patient education
• Referral Coordination Teams who manage specialty referrals, follow‑up tracking, and patient navigation
• In‑house Laboratory Services to support timely diagnostics and results during same‑day visits
• Infant Case Management services to support high‑risk infants and families with enhanced follow‑up and resources
• Community Health Services connecting families to external resources, social services, and community‑based support

This integrated model allows same‑day providers to deliver efficient, high‑quality pediatric care while ensuring families receive the wraparound services they need-during the visit and beyond.

Who We're Looking For

• An Advanced Practice Clinician (NP or PA) with a strong interest in pediatrics and access‑based care
• Comfortable managing same‑day, high‑volume pediatric visits
• Committed to serving underserved and migrant communities
• Adaptable, collaborative, and calm under pressure
• New graduates are welcome-Ideal candidates bring a solid acute care skill set and a clear interest in pediatric care, with the ability to manage same‑day visits in a fast‑paced setting.

Position Details

• 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week)

• Same‑day pediatric visit focus

• EMR: EPIC

• Clinic Hours:

• Monday-Friday: 7:30 am - 7:00 pm

• Saturday: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

• Certified bilingual Medical Assistant support

• Proudly serving a largely migrant and Latino community

Compensation & Highlights

• Base salary: $141,000 - $160,000 annually + additional earnings through productivity and patient satisfaction metrics
• $15,000 hiring bonus
• $20,000 relocation assistance
• Malpractice insurance (no tail coverage required)
• $50,000 student loan repayment, starting the month after your start date
• 4‑week Medical Spanish Immersion Program in Xela, Guatemala

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree (Nurse Practitioner) OR
• Master's degree (Physician Assistant) or Bachelor's in Health Science with PA training
• Eligible for Washington State licensure
