Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Practice Nurse (APN), Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Catheterization, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), Hospital, Medications, Patient Assessment
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Conducting preoperative assessments of patient status and ordering preoperative medication under supervision.
- Administering drugs to produce sedation or anesthesia.
- Inserting arterial and venous catheters.
- Monitoring patients during anesthesia until they regain consciousness.
- Frequently participating with the Code 88 team for resuscitation efforts.
Preferred Experience
Previous experience in cardiac anesthesia is highly preferred.
Education and Required Licenses/Credentials
- Graduation from a CRNA program.
- Current NJ-RN license and AANA Council eligibility/certification.
- Minimum requirement of current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Maintain Continuing Education Units (CEU) status according to AANA Council on Re-Certification.
- Confirmation of credentials must be communicated to the hospital Credentials Committee.
- Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) certification, or a pending application as required.
