Your Responsibilities
  • Performing in-depth patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and crafting personalized care regimens
  • Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or autonomously (depending on your credentials)
  • Guiding patients and families on prevention, wellness strategies, and chronic disease management
  • Prescribing therapeutics and medications within your professional scope

  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive, comprehensive care
  • Maintaining meticulous records in electronic medical documentation systems (EMR)
Education & Certification Requirements
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Mandatory Certifications
  • Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Ohio
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain them within 90 days)
