Your Responsibilities
  • Performing thorough assessments of patients, ordering necessary tests, and creating tailored care strategies
  • Identifying and managing acute and chronic health issues in coordination with physician colleagues or independently as your credentialing allows
  • Providing education to patients and families on wellness, prevention, and ongoing care management
  • Prescribing medications and therapies compliant with practice regulations
  • Engaging in follow-ups and managing chronic illnesses
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure enriched, holistic care
  • Maintaining precise documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
Education To Thrive
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Idaho
  • Nationally recognized certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC), or other appropriate specialty
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capacity to complete within 90 days)
