Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - CT Surgery - Grand Junction, CO

About this role:

Ourcompetitive compensation consists of a base salary plus call pay. The salary is calculated on years of experience and skillset, and can range from $131,000 - $202,000.Q3 call pay is 12.5% on top of your base pay plus time and a half call back activation pay. In addition, you will receive up to $3,500 annually to take CME plus an additional 40 hours of time over PTO. This position includes a$10,000sign-on bonus, and$7,500in relocation assistance,when applicable.

As an Advanced Practice Providerin cardiothoracic (CT) surgeryyou will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.

  • You would work with a team of 3 CT Surgeons, 2 surgical APPs, and 1 non-surgical APP at our Intermountain Health St. Mary's Hospital.

  • Your schedule will be Mon-Fri working 4, 10's with paid 1:3 call for nights and weekends

  • Q3 call requirement includes rounding on weekends during call and being first call for the ED, and nursing floor

  • Assist surgeons in performing procedures during surgery

  • Perform Radial Artery and Saphenous vein harvesting

  • Discharge Same Day or PACU patients

  • Daily team rounding

  • Clinic responsibilities include new H&P and surgical follow ups

What youll bring:

  • PA or NP degree from a fully accredited program

  • Minimum of 2 years of CT Surgery experience

  • OR experience to include Endo Vein Harvesting is preferred

  • Active, unobstructed Colorado license, or the ability to obtain one

  • BLS certification and DEA

  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Healths credentialing process
