Position Summary:
The Lead OB Advanced Practice Provider for Digital Care (OnCall Connect OB) is a member of a collaborative team responsible for delivering high-quality virtual, digital, and community-based maternity care to a diverse population of patients across the Ministry using technology in the patients home environment and, as needed, in-person care. Within scope of practice, the Lead APP performs comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and intervention, utilizing evidence-based care and clinical decision support to guide practice and promote safe, consistent, patient-centered outcomes. In addition to direct patient care, the Lead APP provides clinical leadership for a group of advanced practice nurses by reviewing and monitoring clinical quality in coordination with the Medical Director and Clinical Directors; supporting the design, implementation, and tracking of practice quality/outcome indicators; and ensuring consistent orientation and clinical practices across digital health programs. The Lead APP partners with the Director, Manager, and Clinical Director for OSF OnCall Digital Health, and collaborates with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other care team members to drive service excellence, engagement, access, and cost-effective, efficient care delivery, including conducting regularly occurring meetings to facilitate information dissemination and team support.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Masters degree in nursing Experience: 2 years of experience as an APRN in a family practice setting, urgent care, emergency medicine, or related area Licensure/ Certification: Must have an Illinois RN License and Illinois APN license upon hire. A Michigan RN license and a Michigan APN license must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. Excellent communication skills, including telephone/video etiquette and customer service. Understanding of the principles of performance improvement, case management, discharge planning, utilization review, and medical records. Demonstrated ability to work independently.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Certified Nurse Midwife or Women's Health Nurse Practitioner
