Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) - Emergency Department

A healthcare network in Rockland County, NY is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their growing Emergency Department, providing high-quality acute care in a fast-paced clinical setting. This role supports emergency medicine patients across a variety of day, evening, and overnight shifts.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day, evening, and night shift
• Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; Monday and Wednesday
• Hours: 7:00am-7:00pm, 11:00am-11:00pm, 7:00pm-7:00am, 9:00am-5:00pm, and 4:30pm-12:30am
• Setting: Emergency Department

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and manage patients presenting to the emergency department
• Perform acute care assessments, diagnostics, and treatment planning
• Support procedures and emergency interventions as needed, including moderate sedation when appropriate
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to support patient flow and care delivery

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Active New York RN and NP license or New York PA license
• Active DEA registration with a New York address and required schedule registrations
• Active board certification through AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA, as applicable
• ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certification
• Ability to provide documentation of case logs and CME/CEU for the past two years, as applicable
• Experience with emergency department care
• Comfort working with Epic EMR

Desired Skills:

• Prior emergency medicine procedural experience
• Moderate sedation experience
• Experience with new graduate training or mentorship
