The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary
The Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine, Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC) and the Cohen Center for Infection-Associated Chronic Illnesses (IACI) seeks adult Physician's Assistants (PA) or Nurse Practitioners (NP) for multi-dimensional clinical, practice and research opportunities that will include: (1) outpatient clinic delivering care to diverse patients seeking care for infection associated chronic illness conditions, Long Covid, HIV treatment and prevention; (2) clinical research studies related to infection associated chronic illness conditions, Long Covid, HIV treatment and prevention and opportunities to care for patients receiving long term intravenous antibiotic on the OPAT service.
The incumbent will work with a vibrant team of ID and HIV physicians and clinical researchers and within a multidisciplinary team to deliver care and with opportunities to participate in research protocols. The NP/PA will work independently and under the supervision of the core faculty in the Division, who will provide intense training and teaching. As a core member of the team, the NP/PA will have the opportunity for teaching, research collaborations, academic advancement and leadership, depending on the interests. The incumbent will be responsible for management of care for a specified group of patients in accordance with mutually agreed upon protocols within the policies and procedures established by the Division of Infectious Diseases, The Cohen IACI Center and the Department of Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center.

Must satisfy all clinical credentialing and privileging requirements of NewYork‑Presbyterian Hospital
Successful completion of applicable compliance and systems training requirements
Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) training certification, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certificate, and Conflict of Interest (COI) training certification are required upon hire
