Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join a growing outpatient clinical team focused on delivering high-quality patient care. This role offers the opportunity to provide both direct and indirect patient care while supporting employee wellness, preventive health initiatives, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
Working collaboratively with a supervising physician and interdisciplinary team, you will play a key role in improving patient outcomes through evidence-based care plans, health education, and proactive wellness initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-employment physicals and annual wellness exams
  • Evaluate and treat patients for illness and injury
  • Manage acute and chronic health conditions using evidence-based clinical protocols
  • Develop and implement treatment plans under physician supervision
  • Provide preventive health screenings and wellness programs
  • Educate patients on health management, lifestyle improvements, and preventive care
  • Order, review, and interpret diagnostic testing
  • Monitor patient progress and treatment effectiveness
  • Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare providers as needed
  • Review cases with medical leadership and client stakeholders when appropriate
  • Oversee respirator fit testing and hearing evaluations completed by clinic staff
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
  • Support clinic operations and assist in additional duties as needed

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Certified Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Active state license in good standing
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in one of the following settings:
  • Family MedicineInternal Medicine
  • Urgent Care
  • Current BLS certification
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Strong patient-centered care approach

Preferred Qualifications

  • DEA license
  • Experience working in occupational health or employee wellness settings
  • Experience collaborating with corporate stakeholders or multidisciplinary teams
