Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Advance Practice Nurse) for Neuro Intensive Care Unit
Applicant should be board-certified.
Experienced candidates required (ICU, Neurosurgery, In-patient Neurology, Trauma, Surgery, Hospitalist, and/or Emergency Medicine) to meet the needs of this complex patient cohort.
The Advance Practice Provider will manage neuro-critical care patients augmenting existing provider compliment of Neurointensivists, other APPs, and rotational Residents in Neurology and Neurosurgery.
The Advance Practice Provider will provide coverage on a per diem basis.
The provider should be comfortable with reviewing imaging.
Training will be provided to ensure optimal patient care.
Education Requirements:Master's Degree - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is required
License/Certification Requirements:Board certification Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Board certification as Physician Assistant; Active New Jersey License; American Heart Association BLS
Special Requirements:Scheduled Days / Hours: Shifts will vary.
